Speaker Bio
Jerry Slusky is a seasoned real estate attorney and developer with 50 years of industry experience. As Co-Principal of SG Communities (www.sgrecommunities.com), he leads the development of community-focused multifamily housing across the Midwest with co-principal Yoav Gershoni. Their projects—including close to 2000 units at The Sterling of Grand Island, The Sterling of Kearney, The Sterling of Prairie Trail North in Ankeny, Iowa, The Sterling of Prairie Trail South in Ankeny, Iowa, Axis Community in Papillion, Nebraska, Picket Fence Community in West Des Moines, Iowa, and Kimberly Crossing in Ankeny, Iowa—all of which communities reflect “The Sterling Standard,” SG’s dedication to thoughtful design, premium living, and an exceptional resident experience.

Before transitioning full-time to development, Jerry spent over 50 years advising clients on complex real estate transactions, zoning, and deal structuring. His legal background provided the expertise for developing his strategic approach to building durable, resident-driven, high-quality communities.

Jerry is also Founder and Chairman of the CRE Summit, now in its fourth decade. He is one of eight Nebraska Fellows of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) and has been recognized by Chambers & Partners and Best Lawyers in America as one of Nebraska's best real estate attorneys. He holds an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law, a J.D. From Creighton Law School (cum laude), and a B.S.B.A. in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
