Adam earned both his Bachelor of Science in Finance and his Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He began his professional career at West Gate Bank, first as an analyst and later as a commercial lender, where he specialized in residential construction lending and land development.

In 2014, Adam joined BlueStem Capital Partners (formerly Kuehl Capital), where he began advising Sanitary and Improvement Districts. He was named Managing Director in 2013 and now oversees the firm's operations and strategic initiatives. That same year, Adam also stepped into leadership roles with the Welcome Home Coalition, serving as both an executive board member and treasurer - positions he continues to hold today.
