Summit U is an extension of the CRE Summit's ongoing commitment to connecting the next generation of leaders with Omaha's commercial real estate community.

Through this initiative, the CRE Summit is working to build stronger relationships between students from UNO, Creighton, and UNL and the professionals shaping the region's real estate industry. The goal is to introduce students to the many career paths available in commercial real estate, including development, lending, brokerage, title insurance, property management, construction, design, and related fields.

What began as student participation in the CRE Summit has grown into a broader effort to create more meaningful opportunities for education, mentorship, and industry connection. In 2026, Grow Omaha and the CRE Summit brought students from all three universities together with local commercial real estate leaders for a successful networking event designed to spark conversation, build relationships, and help students better understand the opportunities available in the field.

Summit University will continue building on that momentum by creating space for students to learn directly from industry professionals, ask questions, explore career paths, and connect with leaders who are actively shaping Omaha's growth.

By bringing together universities, students, and the commercial real estate community, Summit University supports a shared goal: helping more young professionals see a future for themselves in real estate and in Omaha, Lincoln, and the region.
